2019 Custer County Fair Fashion Show

2019 Custer County Fair kicked off on July 18th with the first entry day, Clothing Construction and Fashion Show judging was held. Custer County 4-H'ers turned out in mass with entries in both construction and the fashion show. Thumbs Up 4-H club members and parents hosted the Fashion Show at the Evangelical Free Church in Broken Bow at 7:00 p.m. The theme was Creating 4-H From a World of Imagination. 2019 Custer County 4-H Public Speaking Contest

Custer County 4-H Public Speaking Contest was held on Monday, April 1, 2019. Pictured are the winners of the contest. The top three individuals in the Junior Speech, Intermediate Speech, and Senior Speech divisions will represent Custer County at a Regional 4-H Public Speaking Contest to be held on Saturday, April 27 in North Platte.

Thirty-three Custer County 4-H members will learn about government processes in the vibrant, living classroom of the nation’s capital as part of Citizenship Washington Focus (CWF), an intensive 4-H civic engagement program for high-school youth held at the National 4-H Youth Conference Center in Chevy Chase, MD.

Custer County Early 4-H Enrollment

CUSTER COUNTY EARLY 4-H ENROLLMENT is $7.00/member for 2024. 4-H members are greatly encouraged to get enrolled by April 1. The statewide 4-H enrollment deadline is June 15. 4-H members who enroll by April 1 will have the best 4-H experience. They will be able to participate in club activites, work with project leaders to prepare for county fair exhibits and events, and be included in the county supplemental accident insurance policy. Organizational leaders will turn in the $7.00/member fee to the Extension Office by April 19, 2024. Checks should be made payable to: 4-H Activities.

2024 CHEMIGATION TRAINING DATE

Custer County Chemigation Training will be held on Wednesday, January 31, in Broken Bow at the 4-H Building. Session will be at 1:00 p.m. Pre-registration is required.
